The Wedding of Kaitlyn + Zack
Some weddings are memorable because of the details.
Others are memorable because of how they make people feel.
For Kaitlyn and Zack, it was both.
Set on Kaitlyn's family lakefront property in Te Anau, their wedding embraced everything we love about Southland—wide open spaces, breathtaking scenery and a celebration that felt relaxed, generous and completely personal.
A Celebration That Felt Like Home
With 130 guests gathered beneath a clear marquee overlooking Lake Te Anau, every part of the day was designed to make people feel welcome.
The ceremony framed Fiordland's mountains beyond the lake, with vibrant florals lining the aisle and a simple, elegant setting that allowed the landscape to speak for itself. As guests enjoyed cocktails, lawn games and canapés, the ceremony space effortlessly transformed into the reception—proof that thoughtful planning can make every space work beautifully.
The Details That Made It Theirs
The day was filled with personal touches that reflected Kaitlyn and Zack's style.
From the curved white bar and relaxed cocktail hour to shared feast-style dining, espresso martinis before the dance floor and homemade dessert platters prepared by family, every element encouraged guests to slow down, connect and celebrate together.
One of our favourite moments? Watching the bridal party depart for a helicopter adventure across Fiordland before returning to cut the cake as the sun began to soften over the lake. It was a uniquely Southland experience—and one they'll never forget.
Bringing It All Together
At STAC Weddings, our role began long before the wedding day itself.
From planning and styling through to marquee layouts, furniture, bar service and on-the-day coordination, our team worked alongside Kaitlyn and Zack to ensure every moving piece came together seamlessly. Behind every beautiful wedding are hundreds of thoughtful decisions—and seeing it all unfold exactly as imagined is why we love what we do.
Kaitlyn and Zack, thank you for trusting us with such an incredible day. It was an absolute privilege to be part of your story.
Congratulations, Mr & Mrs Fowle. 🤍
